Fantastic 2025th edition of the “National Sommelier Competition” that took place a few days ago in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
Year after year, this event is growing, not only in quantity of participants and guests but also in quality and professionalism of all contestants and of the organization of the event.
Congratulations to our colleagues from Montebianco Company that took place in the contest; Valentina Kirichkova (Champion, Best Sommelier of Kazakhstan 2025) and to Daniil Sterlikov (3er place) and a promising future in the wine business.

This event received strong media coverage in the country and gathered over 300 representatives of the alcohol industry (counting guests + participants).

Four prominent Spanish wineries whose logos were highlighted during the event and their wines poured at the Wine Salon and some of them included within the tasting tasks for participants in the final stage of the Sommelier Competition 2025 and among the prizes presented to the finalists of the contest.
